Mother ship’s journey through the year has been successful. Though mostly friendlies have been encountered, some protective measures were needed for other interactions with inhabitants met on the journey.
The Team met with unexpected delays. This captain for one had her foot broken when a friendly was thrown onto it. A six-inch steel pipe of a high-heel shoe landed square on it and — crack! — broke right there. Other members of the team were attacked in various fashions as well — we lost a few, sad days, and some were injured. We had several others join us on the journey, though, thus necessitating realigning of time allotments. But, as all excellent teams do, they did not quit, they did not cry Uncle. There was no whining. Shoulder to the wheel, and push. Here we are almost 365 days out and infinity has been challenged.
Though the challenges were many, varied, unexpected, and often grave, our journey has not been without success. This captain finished her memoir (Twinkle: a memoir) and it is now published and available on an earth-bound sales portal called Amazon.com. One need merely type in the title of the memoir in the search field on said portal and it is easily found.
The Hush-Hush project, often referred to as the Big Gotta Do, seemed to slow, but in point of fact picked up steam and is moving forward to a successful launch ever faster.
Other writings, in both the fictional long-form story and short-form song, have been accomplished. The Showcase Virgin Sacrifices Her Virginity for the Sake of Her Art One-Stop Tour was a roaring success.
I reviewed notes from the launch date Condo Log 6790-0101, wherein I stated the following seven points about the team.
One: We shall work in tandem to accomplish multiple goals.
Two: We shall see a significant return on our investment of time.
Three: We shall meet/talk often in our war room.
Four: We shall plan like a general.
Five: We shall aim like a sniper.
Six: We shall march like a strong army.
Seven: We shall go together where alone we could not.
Were these realized? Yes!
Did expectations change? Yes!
Are these as relevant now as they were upon setting out on our journey? Yes, yes, and yes!
